Meet the Developer
Now that you’ve purchased my product, I feel it’s important for you to know a little bit about me. There are so many fly-by-night scams out there and products with no support behind them, that I’m truly grateful that you took the leap and purchased my theme.
Who am I?
I’m Ryan and I’m responsible for creating the whole Flexibility/FlexSqueeze thing. I’m really more of a designer than developer, and even more of an idea guy than either of those.
I’m the married father of two incredible boys, a Cub Scout leader, an outdoor enthusiast, a washed-up athlete a host of other descriptive terms. I live in a small college town in central Nebraska which is the perfect place to raise a family. We don’t have sandy beaches or tall mountains, but that’s what vacations are for.
What do I do?
Flexibility/FlexSqueeze keep me pretty busy, and when I’m developing a new version I’m totally consumed by it. Ask anyone who tries to get a forum response while I’m working on an update 🙂
I also have a bunch of other affiliate sites I developed and maintain. Some are very popular sites, with thousands of visitors a day (one is actually a PR7 currently with over 250,000 one-way inbound links and 5,000 unique organic visitors a day). Others are lower-traffic sites that truck along 24/7 and earn a couple hundred bucks a month. But if you get enough of those, it helps pay the bills.
I am an experienced affiliate marketer and hopefully I can get a few of you started on the road to success. There’s no better feeling than when you get to the point where you can quit your job and be a full-time internet marketer. No boss. No whiny fellow employees. No commute. It doesn’t get any better than that.
One thing I will NOT do is portray myself as an uber-successful internet millionaire and show you photos of my yachts, mansion and sports cars. That tactic has it’s place, but not with what I do. I’ll create the tools so YOU can portray yourself that way 🙂 And by the way, I drive a 2004 Ford F-150 4X4 and don’t own a boat.
Why the new website for FlexSqueeze?
FlexibilityTheme.com was the site that started it all, but I never intended it to be a site where I sold anything. And I didn’t feel my FlexSqueeze users were getting a fair shake either, because the site wasn’t structured for proper support or theme updates.
Moving FlexSqueeze to a membership site structure allows me to provide much better content and support. Flexibility is intended to be a stepping stone to FlexSqueeze, but thrown together it just gets a little confusing.
I’m really looking forward to creating a vibrant community of users with the new site. I have lots of new ways of communicating with you, either through the Twitter updates, quick e-mails notifying you of new content or theme updates, or even through the updates page inside the theme.
So that’s a little bit about me. I’m in front of my computer pretty much all day long, so if you can’t catch me in the forums, shoot me an e-mail via my contact form.
